Sun of Freedom is aware of the article published concerning the charity and the allegations and representations made within it.

We unequivocally reject the allegations and characterisations made about Sun of Freedom and do not accept them as an accurate representation of our charity, our trustees or the charitable work we undertake.

Sun of Freedom takes allegations of antisemitism and support for terrorism extremely seriously. We categorically reject antisemitism, terrorism, and violence against civilians, wherever it occurs, including against civilians in Palestine.

For clarity, the fundraising arrangement referred to in the article relates specifically to the Mo Hamz Collection. It does not extend to Warrior Ink's wider merchandise.

To date, Sun of Freedom has received US$1,000 through its Chuffed fundraising account in connection with the collection. These funds remain unspent.

Sun of Freedom has not received any direct correspondence, notification or enquiry from the Charity Commission regarding this matter. We are aware only of the statement attributed to the Commission and reported in the published article.

As trustees, we are taking the matters raised seriously and are reviewing the relevant governance, financial and risk-management considerations through the appropriate internal processes.

We remain firmly committed to the charitable work of Sun of Freedom and to our orphan sponsorship programme, which remains central to our charitable purpose and the support we provide. Alongside this, our humanitarian work supports displaced communities in Gaza through the provision of essential food, water and other practical assistance to people facing the devastating consequences of the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Our focus remains on supporting vulnerable people and delivering meaningful humanitarian assistance where it is most needed.

We will continue to act in accordance with our responsibilities as trustees and in the best interests of the charity.

We will not be drawn into a public discussion of individual allegations concerning individuals or matters currently being reviewed. Where matters concern individual designers or their creative work, those individuals may speak for themselves in their own capacity.

Sun of Freedom stands by its charitable objectives, its work and its commitment to responsible governance and financial stewardship.
