Mo Hamzeh
VICE CHAIR
Mo Hamzeh is a Palestinian-American that was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and now resides in Jersey City, NJ with his wife and two children. If there's one thing Mo values most, it's his family. Mo's family is from Ein Karem, Palestine, which is just outside of Jerusalem. His great grandparents and grandparents among their children were displaced as a result of the Nakba of 1948 where they were forced to seek refuge, which forced many of them to flee to Jordan. Mo just recently visited Palestine with his family for the first time, which he describes as an out-of-body experience. Mo is proud of his Palestinian heritage and seeks to use anything and everything at his disposal to speak out about Palestine and educate the masses whether it be through speech, writing, or art. He is an activist by his own right and looks forward to the day that Palestine is free.
