Hamada
Humanitarian Program Coordinator, Ground Volunteer
Since 2023, Hamada has dedicated himself to supporting the most vulnerable families through orphan sponsorship programs, field aid distributions, and humanitarian initiatives. He works tirelessly to ensure sponsored orphans receive the care they deserve and that assistance reaches families in need with dignity, reflecting the values of compassion and humanity. He has also contributed to numerous initiatives providing clean water, food, and shelter, while helping families relocate to southern areas in coordination with organizations that have international partnerships.
Hamada is known for his resourcefulness, honesty, resilience, and kind heart. Everything he does reflects a deep commitment to generosity and humanity. He loves cooking, and his niece Habiba holds a very special place in his heart. Thoughtful by nature, he also takes pride in maintaining a smart appearance and a cheerful spirit, even in the face of hardship.

Courtney
Grant Writer and Fundraising Coordinator
Courtney is based in Manchester, UK and has a background in digital marketing and paid media, with a range of skills across advertising, strategy and research. She has volunteered at a range of community charities over the years and is passionate about getting involved with Sun of Freedom to support the ever-important focus on a Free Palestine and the charity's continued fundraising and marketing efforts.

Christina
Social Media Team Lead
Christina is an Iraqi-Irish American born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs. Her father’s family is ethnically Assyrian and originally from Mosul and later settled in Baghdad, Iraq.
Christina has always taken great pride in her Iraqi and Assyrian heritage. She became active in Palestinian advocacy after October 7, 2023. She has spoken at demonstrations and remains committed to educating others about Palestine and the region’s history. Through family and historical research, she believes her ancestors may have lived in the Gaza region approximately 2,600 years ago, and feels honored when she says, “Ana dammi Filastini” (“My blood is Palestinian”) with pride.

Rita
Administrative Outreach Director
Sales professional by day and humanitarian activist by night, Rita has a long-standing commitment to advocacy and volunteer work, including past efforts supporting Alzheimer’s research. Since the devastating escalation of ethnic cleansing in Occupied Palestine in October 2023, she has devoted her energy to advocacy and grassroots fundraising for Gaza, standing firmly in solidarity with its people.

Arwyn
Social Media Volunteer
Arwyn is a parent, works in healthcare, and would almost always rather be in the ocean. Unfortunately, running screaming into the sea doesn't have much of an impact on anyone but her, so she feels a responsibility to do other things, like volunteer for the Sun of Freedom. -
Tiffany
Writer and Public Outreach
Tiffany is a certified Ballroom Dancer & Instructor since 2014 and a Professional Spiritual Medium for nearly two decades; channeling messages of life and love from beyond the veil. She travels the world teaching dance and was recognized as one of the top 15 Instructors in the world for Arthur Murray Studios. She is also a writer & birth doula; bringing babies & stories into the world one step at a time. Tiffany is passionate about empowering people through creative movement, spoken word, and advocacy. Though she has worked on many causes before from wildlife restoration to the war in Ukraine, the situation in Palestine has captured Tiffany’s heart unlike any other.
