Join us for our second annual fundraising event in London: “Palestine: ‘A Journey Through Heritage & Hope" — an immersive evening celebrating Palestinian culture, art, heritage, food, and inspiring stories. We will be raising vital funds for Sun of Freedom’s humanitarian work in Gaza.

Speit

Speit is a Palestinian-Irish rapper rooted in resistance.

Speit’s music sheds a light on the suffering of his people back home and aims to be the voice of freedom for all.

Mo Hamzeh

Palestinian-American whose family is from Ein Karem, Palestine. His great grandparents and grandparents were displaced from the Nakba of 1948 which forced many of them to flee to Jordan. Mo is proud of his Palestinian heritage and seeks to use everything at his disposal to educate the masses whether it be through speech, writing, or art.

Lisa

Lisa, still has close family in Palestine. She works tirelessly & relentlessly to spearhead “out of the box” methodologies to help her own people.

She focuses on, & partakes in, a ‘multi pronged approach’ to assist & provide tangible actions with proven results & to educate people about Palestine.

Helio

Helio Figueiredo is an essayist and cultural critic whose work explores geopolitics, media and history through the lens of power and colonial legacy.

With a background in History and Archaeology, he examines how political realities are shaped by narrative, representation and cultural framing.

Lubna

Lubna Speitan is a British-Palestinian representative of Greenwich Palestine Alliance (GPA), Unite Community GLaB Equality Officer, community organiser and activist dedicated to grassroots mobilisation, political education, and the struggle for justice and liberation.

Chad

Chad is a passionate disability activist, graphic designer, and wheelchair bodybuilder dedicated to promoting inclusion and equal rights for all. With a strong belief that everyone deserves respect and opportunity regardless of where they live or their abilities, Chad uses his voice and platform to raise awareness about disability and break down barriers.

Mostafa Salameh

Born in 1970 in Kuwait to Palestinian parents who were refugees from Ramallah and Jaffa. He began his mountaineering journey in 2004, while living and working in Edinburgh. He had a dream that would change the course of his life. He saw himself praying for peace from the highest mountain in the world. After this dream, Mostafa trained to climb mountains, and entered a world he had never known before becoming one of only 16 people in the world to climb the Seven Summits and ski the South Pole and the North Pole - known as the ‘Explorers Grand Slam.’

Yasmine Say

Personal Trainer, Master's student, mother and activist from Chiswick, West London. Half Palestinian, she is the daughter of Antoine Raffoul, a Palestinian Nakba survivor, and has carried that heritage into a lifelong commitment to justice for Palestine — a commitment that began at just 19, when she joined her first protest march alongside her parents. For the past three years, Yasmine has used her social media platform to educate and raise awareness of the Palestinian cause, calling for an end to the British government's shameful complicity in Israel's apartheid and genocide, and amplifying the Palestinian call for justice and return.
